Support Center For Women

The Support Center for Women is an initiative of Empowerment for Her aimed at providing essential support to women's rights activists on the ground. We recognize the critical work these brave advocates are doing to fight for gender equality and protect the rights of women and girls.
Through the Support Center, we offer:

Technical Assistance

Our team of experts is available to provide technical support and capacity building to women's rights organizations and groups. This includes assistance with digital security, web development, social media strategy, grant writing, and other operational needs. We work to ensure activists have the tools and skills to safely and effectively carry out their vital work.

Resource Library

The Support Center maintains an extensive library of resources relevant to the women's rights movement. This includes research reports, legal documents, advocacy materials, and best practice guides that organizations can access and utilize in their efforts.

Networking and Collaboration

We facilitate connections between women's rights activists, allowing them to share experiences, collaborate on initiatives, and build a stronger, more unified movement. Through convening’s, online forums, and other channels, activists can learn from each other and find strength in solidarity.

Emergency Rapid Response

In times of crisis or heightened risk, the Support Center provides emergency assistance to women's rights defenders. This can include emergency funding, temporary relocation, legal aid, and other critical interventions to ensure the safety and security of activists.
