Conference:

Empowerment for Her is host a conference in the summer of 2022. Further details regarding the conference will be shared at a later date, highlighting their commitment to providing a platform for important discussions and knowledge sharing.

Brussels Visit:

Tahmina Salik, a representative of Empowerment for Her, was invited to Brussels for a meeting with EU officials. The discussions centered around the situation in Afghanistan and the active role that the diaspora can play in supporting the EU’s efforts in the country. Tahmina met with several individuals, including Paola Pampaloni, Deputy Managing Director of the “Asia and Pacific Department” at the European External Action Service, and policy advisors from the left group in the European Parliament.

Collaboration with Danish Parliament:

Empowerment for Her has been in contact with several Danish parliament members, including Ulla Tornæs and Eva Flyvholm, to discuss potential events in 2022. These collaborations aim to create impactful initiatives in partnership with the Danish Parliament.

European Network Membership:

Empowerment for Her joined a European network organized by the European Council for Refugees and Exile (ECRE). This network brings together ten Afghan diaspora NGOs across Europe that work on advocacy. Additionally,

Empowerment for Her organized an online meeting with women representatives working in DACAAR (Danish Committee for Aid to Afghan Refugees) and John Morse. This meeting provided an opportunity for fruitful discussions and collaboration among the participants.
