Empowerment For Her was honored to join the Danish delegation at the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69) at the United Nations in New York from March 10-21, 2025, upon the invitation of the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tahmina Salik and Zohreh Faizi actively engaged with global leaders and activists to advocate for gender equality, women’s rights, and the recognition of gender apartheid as a crime under international law.
As a proud member of the Danish delegation, Tahmina Salik witnessed firsthand how Denmark continues to lead the way in the fight for equality, women’s participation, and empowerment. Every forum, side event, and discussion reinforced Denmark’s unwavering commitment to making the world a more inclusive place for women and girls.
