“Let’s Talk About It” Event (7th Feb 2023):
Empowerment for Her, in collaboration with Iranian women’s rights activists Ellie Jokar Ellieminartigee and Pari Khadem, hosted an event called “Let’s Talk About It.”
The event aimed to raise awareness of the Afghan and Iranian struggles for human rights and build international community connections.
It featured art, music, and delicious finger food. The event was open to people from diverse backgrounds and encouraged collaboration and ideas between cultures.
Discussions focused on how the international community can support countries like Iran and Afghanistan in their quest for human rights and a more solidarity-based future.
