    Empowerment for Her, formerly DAKDIF, is a women-led Danish-based organization dedicated to advocating for and empowering women through knowledge-sharing and collaborative efforts. Our mission aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) number 5, focusing on achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. We actively engage with international stakeholders and raise awareness about vulnerable women, working to develop effective support strategies.     Responsibilities
    The Content Creator and Social Media Manager will perform the following

    responsibilities:
    Content Creation:
    Develop and create compelling content for Empowerment for Her’s activities, including events, conferences, and publications.
    Write engaging and informative posts, articles, and updates for various platforms.
    Design and produce visual content such as graphics, infographics, and videos to support our communications efforts.

    Social Media Management:
    Manage and update Empowerment for Her’s social media accounts, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
    Create and schedule posts to promote our activities, share news, and engage with our audience.
    Monitor social media interactions, respond to comments and messages, and foster positive community engagement.

    Strategy and Analytics:
    Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance our online presence and reach.
    Analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of content and engagement strategies.
    Provide regular reports on social media performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.

    Collaboration and Communication:
    Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to align content with organizational goals and messaging.
    Collaborate with other team members to gather information and updates on Empowerment for Her’s activities.
    Stay current with social media trends and best practices to keep our content fresh and relevant.
    Competencies

    The IT Support volunteer position is remote and will report directly to the IT Coordinator. This role involves managing the cPanel of our website and providing technical assistance to ensure smooth website operations and troubleshoot technical issues.


    Responsibilities


    The IT Support volunteer will perform the following responsibilities:


    cPanel Management:


    Manage and maintain the cPanel of our website, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
    Monitor website performance and security, implementing updates and patches as needed.
    Handle domain management, email accounts, and database management through cPanel.


    Technical Assistance:


    Provide technical support to resolve website issues, including troubleshooting errors and performance problems.
    Assist with website backups and recovery processes.


    Website Management:


    Support basic website management tasks, including content updates, plugin installations, and theme adjustments.
    Ensure that the website is running smoothly and efficiently, addressing any issues promptly.
    Maintain documentation of technical issues and resolutions for future reference.


    Competencies



    Technical Proficiency:


    Demonstrates experience with web hosting platforms, cPanel, and basic website management. Shows capability in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently.

    The Dari to English Translator will perform the following responsibilities:


    Translation:


    Translate stories and documents from Dari into English, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity.
    Maintain the original meaning, tone, and context of the stories.
    Review and revise translations to ensure high-quality output.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    Work with the Content Coordinator to understand the context and nuances of the stories.

    Communicate any challenges or issues encountered during the translation process promptly.
    Participate in occasional meetings with the team to provide updates and discuss any necessary revisions.


    Technical Requirements:


    Utilize translation tools and software effectively, if applicable.

    The Podcast Narrator will perform the following responsibilities:


    Narration and Recording:


    Narrate scripts that have been prepared in advance, ensuring a clear, engaging, and professional delivery.
    Maintain consistent vocal quality and adhere to the established style and tone of the podcast series.
    Record narration sessions in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
    Edit and review recordings to ensure high-quality output, coordinating with the audio team as needed.


    Collaboration and Communication:


    Collaborate with the Content Coordinator to understand the script’s context and intended message.
    Communicate any issues or concerns regarding the scripts or recording process promptly.
    Participate in occasional meetings with the production team to provide feedback and discuss improvements.
